We’re looking for a Female Team Leader to join our team in Roche, Cornwall, providing confident, visible and supportive leadership to a team delivering high-quality, person-centred support.

As a Team Leader, you’ll play an important part in making that happen.
What you’ll be doing
Working closely with the Locality Manager, you’ll lead, support and develop a team of Support Workers, helping them deliver consistent, high-quality support.
Your role will include:
- Leading and motivating a team to provide outstanding, person-centred support
- Supporting people to live the lives they choose, with freedom, choice and independence
- Providing day-to-day leadership, supervision, coaching and guidance to Support Workers
- Supporting the Locality Manager with team development and performance
- Coordinating rotas and helping ensure safe and effective staffing levels
- Promoting positive outcomes and helping people achieve their goals and aspirations
- Supporting safe medication practices and effective medication management
- Maintaining high standards of safeguarding, quality and compliance
- Ensuring support is delivered in line with Brandon Trust policies and relevant regulatory requirements
- Working flexibly alongside your team and providing hands-on support when needed
- Helping colleagues develop their skills, confidence and practice
You’ll bring a calm, resilient and positive approach, with the confidence to make decisions, manage competing priorities and support your team through challenges.
What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who:
- Has experience supporting people with learning disabilities, autism or complex needs
- Has experience in a supervisory, senior support or leadership role within social care
- Is passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred support
- Can lead, motivate, coach and inspire others
- Has strong communication, organisation and decision-making skills
- Can prioritise workloads and respond confidently when things change
- Understands the importance of safeguarding, quality and compliance
- Is reliable, flexible and resilient
- Takes pride in helping both people we support and colleagues achieve their potential
- Has a relevant social care qualification, or is willing to work towards one
- Has a full UK driving licence – desirable

Important information
This is a part-time role of 17.5 hours per week.
Team Leaders work flexibly across a 24/7 service, including shifts that may include evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
An enhanced DBS check is required.
