We’re looking for a Staff Nurse to join our Bristol homes. At Brandon Trust, nursing is about more than clinical skills — it’s about working alongside people so they can live the life they choose.

Our Bristol homes support people with higher and more complex needs, so this role includes more hands‑on support, health monitoring and specialist nursing input. Experience working in care is preferable due to the nature of the role. 

The support we offer is shaped around what matters to each person — their choices, routines and goals — whether that’s day‑to‑day support at home, staying well, or spending time out in the community.

What you’ll be doing

• Providing specialist nursing support and leading by example
• Running shifts and supporting colleagues to deliver safe, person‑centred support
• Supporting people with everyday routines, medication and health needs
• Helping people build daily living skills and do more of what matters to them
• Carrying out nursing procedures in line with agreed guidance
• Working closely with families, health professionals and colleagues
• Being part of a nursing team focused on good outcomes and lived experience

Shifts & working patterns

• Flexible shifts across a 24/7 service
• Some homes have early starts from 7am
• Waking night shifts are in place in some homes 

What we’re looking for

• A nursing qualification with current NMC registration (RNLD, RMN or RGN)
• A calm and confident approach, even when things are busy
• Experience supporting people with learning disabilities (ideal, not essential)
• A flexible, curious mindset and openness to learning
• Clinical knowledge, or a willingness to build skills with support
